Early on in the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a sense of loss and negativity within the world. There was an overwhelming sense of anxiety that things would never go back to normal, and that the world would continue to be broken. However, there was also a campaign of gratitude towards those who were serving in the fight against the virus and a view of their actions as supererogatory (Mosley).
